After reading the "To the unfinished tomorrow" chapter I had to draw a doujinshi about the Invasion of poland. (That was about 2 weeks ago). I don't know. It was finished after two days. But, srsly, I'm pretty unsure if i should upload it anywhere because I don't want to offend anyone. I tried my best to keep it "in character" and to stick to the facts and i did my reasearch, I can assure you. But it's such a dodgy topic... I also wanted to practice drawing a serious manga because until now I was not really capable of it. But with such a topic it was pretty easy to keep it serious. Of course it's pretty violent but I kept it as moderate as possible.
This Cover...it took ages!!! I'm not satisfied but I didn't want to spend more time on it. The outlines are so unclean, forgive me... I thought of a title for the manga but everything that came to mind sounded like some kind of superhero comic so I decided i will just take the year - 1939 - for the title. I think that's expressive enough.
It's Germany on the left side, Russia on the right side and Poland in the middle. As the "back cover" i have France and England because they play a major role in the doujinshi, too.
FYI: Axis Powers Hetalia is basically a Webcomic/Manga/Anime where the characters are personificated countries who represent historical events in short comic strips.
I just finished reading, and I enjoyed it very much. The angst was just what I was looking for, the drawings were incredible as well was the information represented and plot itself. I also like how the only colour y'all kept present was red. I cab defiantly see myself reading a manga a yours in the near future, you've got a lovely gift. I now favour this amazing title page so that I may read this again sometime. The emotion I felt was great, I can see the hard work and time that had been placed into this project. Keep drawing
(Clap,Clap,Clap) Well done. I read through the whole thing it was amazing. I love the show's comedy and how historically correct it is, but I wish that they had another version where it was like how you have it here, until then I guess the world has to do with what you got here. I hope you are going to do a whole series like this, cuz if you r expect more favs and comments from me.
Anyways well played and well done... extremely well done.
This is such a sad thing. I found it last year when we were working on the WWII unit in my history class and it made me cry. Just plain cry. It's so on the dot with the history along with such amazing art.
Your comic was the very first piece of Hetalia art I ever saw, over two years ago now, and I credit it with showing me how educational and adult this fandom can be. It basically convinced me to give it a try. So thank you very much for drawing this, and showing me how much potential this fandom has.

This is so very good. I like that you didn't idealize Germany or Russia, that's something some fans have a terrible habit of doing.
I also love the drawing style! Very good work!
