EDIT: FUUUUUUUUUU I JUST NOTICED I FORGOT THOSE DANGLY CORD THINGIES ON HIS HOODIE. FML OTL

Musical inspiration, lol The word "wanker" shouldn't sound so cute. Why are british accents so adorable aaskjfs
Since Paul Elstak is from the Netherlands, I should have added our favourite little pot head, too, but alas.

A little speed paint in case my computer should die again D:
but it seems like it's running smoothly at the moment, yay \o/

This was the first time I actually tried to only use one layer for drawing (well, I used an extra layer for the hoodie motive). Fuuu, that's so difficult orz
I wanted to try out the way :iconxiiaus-room: does speed paintings (check her out if you aren't watching her already. She's also the one who made my new icon ♥ Together with :iconbio-electric-anemone: )

Uhm, about the pic...
Well, everyone and their mom did Punk!England already, and I really wanted to see a hooligan!England D:
The origins of hooliganism are kind of unclear, but apparently there was a gang with that name in 19th century London.
Even Arthur Conan Doyle used the term "hooliganism" in one of his works.

You can also read a bit a little about the "No one likes us, we don't care" chant on Wikipedia

I like to imagine modern England as sometimes acting a bit inappropriate for his age. He was busy conquering shit during his youth, so maybe he is kind of attempting to make up for his lost childhood/teenager times with all those subcultures that developed in England particularly during the 20th Century °^°a Food for thought!

England is actually one of my fav characters, but after seeing all those doujinshi that depict him like a ten year old girl, it's kind of hard for me to draw him manly so I kind of not even try haha ;A;
